International Monetary Fund experts in a memorandum updated the negative scenario for Ukraine in the event of a more intense war that will last until mid-2026.

As stated in the document, the negative scenario envisages a longer and more intense war. This would result in a longer-lasting and more intense shock to the economy than under the base case scenario, which calls for the end of the war in the fourth quarter of 2025.
