At a mixed martial arts tournament Alash Pride 104 in Shymkent a fight for the title of “interim” league lightweight champion took place, in which a Kazakh fighter fought Nurkhan Zhumagazi (6-1) and Kyrgyzstani Rinat Sayakbaev (15-10-1), Sports.kz reports.
This fight was scheduled for five rounds, but ended in the first: Zhumagazy won by technical knockout. Video can be viewed below.
Thus, Nurkhan Zhumagazy won the seventh fight in his professional MMA career and became the new “temporary” Alash Pride lightweight champion, and for Rinat Sayakbaev this defeat was already the eleventh in the pros. Let us add that in 2018, Sayakbaev fought with Shavkat Rakhmonov (19-0) and was knocked out by him in the second round.
