BMW cars were illegally sold to Russia – UNIAN
The German automobile manufacturing and aircraft engine concern BMW announced that it had exposed a scheme through which its cars were supplied to Russia.
According to a statement from the concern, which is published by DW, violations in the export of cars from a branch in the city of Hanover made it possible for them to be delivered to Russia. Exports have already been stopped, and the employees most responsible for this have been fired.
According to Business Insider, the Russians received more than 100 premium cars thanks to prohibited export operations carried out by employees of the Hannover plant.
