January holidays 2024-2025 will no longer be the same as before

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation has announced significant changes to the schedule of weekends and holidays for the next two years. The main goal of these changes is to create an optimal balance between work and leisure for the country's citizens.

Extended New Year's holiday

According to the new calendar, Russians will be able to enjoy long weekends from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025 inclusive. This vacation will allow people not only to recuperate with their families, but also to qualitatively prepare for the start of the new working year. The long New Year holidays will provide an opportunity not only to celebrate the main winter holiday, but also to have a good rest before returning to everyday responsibilities.
