In 2025, Tetyana's name will be changed to Horpin: the CPD responded to the TikTok video
It was said that for breaking the “law” there is a fine or even prison.
The Center for Combating Disinformation denied the statement that in Ukraine they plan to oblige women with the name Tetiana to change it to “Horpina” by January 1, 2025.
This is stated in the message of the CPD in Telegram.
For example, a video recently went viral on TikTok, where a woman stated that a fine or even imprisonment is provided for violating the “law” allegedly passed by the Verkhovna Rada. However, she did not provide any evidence. Moreover, according to information from her account, the woman lives in Germany and supports Russia.
Other users also picked up the clip. If some started joking and inventing different names to replace their own, for example Daria – Odarka, Lyubov – Yavdoha, Maria – Motrya, others openly resented the “law”.
However, the Center for Combating Disinformation denied this statement.
