A serious accident involving a wild animal was recorded in the Kirov region. The incident was reported by the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
According to preliminary information, late in the evening of Sunday, December 22, on the Kirov-Sovetsk-Yaransk highway, the driver of a Renault Logan was unable to avoid a collision with a moose that ran onto the road. The accident occurred at about 21:40 on the 199th kilometer of the highway in the Yaransky district.
The impact of the car caused serious damage to the front end. There were at least two people inside: a 35-year-old driver and a 31-year-old passenger. Both were reported injured. No other details are provided.
