Over the past weekend, a record number of people crossed the Ukrainian border – a figure higher than on “summer peak” days and on previous winter holidays.
Representative of the State Border Service Andrey Demchenko spoke about this during the telethon.
“If we talk about the time when martial law is in effect in Ukraine, these are some of the highest figures that were recorded this weekend. On Saturday, about 150 thousand people in total crossed the border in both directions, the number is approximately the same for entry and departure yesterday – 154 thousand, but a certain advantage was recorded for entry into Ukraine – 10 thousand more people,” the speaker said.
