Boxer of the Kazakhstan national team Temirtas Zhusupov reached the final of the national championship, which takes place in Karaganda, Sports.kz reports.
In the semi-finals of the weight category up to 48 kilograms, the representative of the Akmola region, Zhusupov, met with Nurgisa Turabekov (Turkestan region) and defeated him with a score of 5:0 (30-27 on the cards of all judges). Thus, he will fight for gold, and Turabekov became the bronze medalist of the ChRK-2024.
Let us remind you that Temirtas Zhusupov is the 2021 world champion, the 2013 and 2019 Asian champion, as well as a multiple champion of Kazakhstan.
