On December 22, 2024, Tenerife authorities announced the closure of all access roads to Teide National Park due to unfavorable weather conditions – the accumulation of snow and ice on the roads made driving in this region dangerous, writes Canarian Weekly.
In particular, routes TF-21 from La Orotava, TF-24 from La Esperanza and TF-38 from Chio remain closed.
