After a hacker attack on Ukrainian state registries, it turns out that the hack occurred due to a violation of cybersecurity rules, or one of the Ukrainian employees was bribed. This was announced by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Alexander Fedienko, in an interview with Radio Liberty.
“Somewhere, most likely, some kind of incident occurred. I think the special services are looking into this,” he said.
The people's deputy noted that it is still difficult to say whether it was phishing, adding that perhaps some of the employees who work with the registries were bribed.
