NASA's Parker Solar Probe will fly as close as possible to the Sun. It will approach the star closer than any other object sent previously, VOA writes.
It is noted that Parker Solar Probe was launched in 2018 in order to look at the Sun from close range. Since then, it has flown directly through the solar corona.
The next task of Parker Solar Probe will be a rapprochement with the Sun, the publication added. The probe is scheduled to zip through the sun's hot atmosphere on Tuesday and pass within a record 6 million kilometers of the star's surface.
