Ukrainians in Poland are waiting for increased control over their finances — World
Ukrainians who do business in Poland come under the close attention of tax authorities.
Poland is strengthening control over the financial transactions of foreigners, in particular Ukrainians, who conduct business or make transfers. Starting in 2025, suspicious transactions may result in account suspensions. The purpose of the measures is to combat fraud and the shadow economy, which causes losses to the budget.

Special attention will be paid to the industries most prone to tax violations:
- Construction services — cases of using fictitious accounts to reduce tax liabilities are recorded.
- Intangible services — due to difficulties in verifying the reality of the services provided, this area is one of the most risky.
