In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a man who received a summons but categorically refused to be mobilized was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
This is stated in the verdict of Pokrovsky district court of Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to the court, the man has been on military registration since October 13, 1995. In 2024, he passed the VLK, which recognized him as suitable for mobilization. In June 2024, they tried to serve him with a summons, but he refused to be mobilized and wrote a statement.
At the court, the man admitted his guilt and repented. He explained that “he is afraid for his life and health. In the court session, he also expressed his absolute unwillingness to serve in the Armed Forces.”
The court analyzed the case materials and found the man guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment.
