Scientists have explained the dangers of having a late dinner – Nutrition
A group of experts from the Open University of Catalonia and Columbia University found serious health consequences for people who eat after five in the evening, reports Sports.kz with reference to the “Championship”.
The scientific work was published in the journal Nutrition and Diabetes.
The new study involved 26 people aged 50 to 75 who were overweight or obese and had prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. They were divided into two groups: the first consumed most of their calories before 17:00, the other – after. They ate the same food, consumed the same amount of calories, just at different times of the day.
