Japanese automobile giants Nissan and Honda have signed a memorandum of understanding to create a joint holding company. This is stated in their joint press release.
According to the agreements, the companies plan to complete the business combination by August 2026. It is then that a new holding should appear. The senior partner with greater influence in the new company will be Honda. She will have the right to appoint to most management positions, including the president of the holding, who will also be a representative of Honda.
