December 24, 2024 (02:13)

Former world professional super flyweight champion IBA Marat Mazimbaev shared his opinion with Sports.kz about the victory of the Ukrainian boxer Alexandra Usika (23-0, 14 KOs) in a rematch with the British heavyweight Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs).

— I’m very happy for Oleksandr Usik, he has already won his second fight against Tyson Fury. He now lacks the belt to become the absolute champion again. I think that people are already agreeing on such a fight. I wish him good luck! He did a great job and won a well-deserved victory,” the specialist said.

Note that Usyk defeated Fury after 12 rounds by unanimous decision on the night of December 21-22. As a result of the fight, the Ukrainian retained his WBA-Super, WBO, IBO, WBC and The Ring champion titles.
