British troops in Ukraine – Starmer hinted at a positive solution – UNIAN

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has hinted that British troops could be stationed in western Ukraine to train soldiers.
According to The Times, in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Starmer agreed “on the importance of clarifying” the proposal to train Ukrainian soldiers to further strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities on the battlefield.
Already, some 51,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained in the UK as part of Operation Interflex. However, as The Times writes, sending military personnel to Britain involves a “multi-stage journey.”
