Volodymyr Zelenskyi – Fico refused compensation for the termination of gas transit between the Russian Federation and Ukraine
Obviously, cooperation with the Kremlin is more important for Fico than with the European Commission.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, emphasized that he offered Slovakia compensation for losses from Russian transit. Instead, Prime Minister Robert Fizo refused.
This was written by the head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
He emphasized: Ukrainians are fighting for their lives, but Fico is fighting for money, and hardly money for Slovakia. Shady arrangements with Putin are either trading in state interests or working for personal gain.
“We offered him (Fico – ed.) a decision regarding possible compensation for Slovaks, in particular Slovaks, for losses from Russian transit, as well as an alternative for transit – any other gas, not Russian, at the request of the European Commission. We were ready to do it Fico did not want compensation for the Slovaks.
