In the Nemsky district, an overheated hair dryer triggered a powerful fire in a residential building

There was a large fire in the Nemsky district. The causes and consequences of the incident were reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kirov Region.

According to the department, on the afternoon of Monday, December 23, firefighters were working in the village of Arkhangelskoye, Nemsky District. They arrived in response to a call about a fire in a private residential building. The flame occupied an area of ​​200 square meters, spreading to nearby outbuildings and a bathhouse.

Fortunately, the fire was put out and no one was injured. The fire destroyed the bathhouse and outbuildings. Inside the house, the roof and ceiling were burned. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations found out that the cause of the fire was an overheated hair dryer: the owner had been using it for too long to dry the painted sauna stove.
