A scientist who helped develop breathalyzers has been banned from driving after failing a road test.

Dr Richard Lacy, a 70-year-old retired Briton, admitted he had several glasses of wine and a pint of beer at lunch before getting behind the wheel on November 23.
His Peugeot later hit a roundabout on the A479 near Talgarth, Wales, UK. Damage to one of the wheels made it immobile.
Lacey told the court that he helped develop breathalyzers and previously cooperated with law enforcement.
