At the Kazakhstan Boxing Championship, the final was held in the weight category up to 71 kilograms for men, Sports.kz reports.
They fought for gold in this division Farukh Toktasyn from Almaty and representing the West Kazakhstan region Sabyrzhan Akkalykov. The opponents started an open confrontation with an abundance of “shootings” in the center of the ring. The victory by decision of the majority of judges ultimately went to Akkalykov.
Note that both boxers have two professional fights in which they won. In addition, Sabyrzhan Akkalykov is the 2021 world champion among youth in amateur boxing.
