The results of a VTB* survey show that more than half of respondents (53%) consider it important to know how much their partner earns. Every fourth person is ready to spend more than half of their income on gifts for loved ones, and 78% manage a budget together and divide expenses in half.
Residents of St. Petersburg are the most philosophical about financial issues: 31% of them noted that it does not matter to them how much their half earns. At the same time, almost half of the respondents (49%) know the exact amount of earnings, and 46% know the approximate amount.
The survey showed that 78% of respondents manage their budget together. At the same time, about a third of couples pay mortgages and loans together, and another quarter of respondents bear these expenses themselves.
