There is no draft law on lowering the mobilization age in the Council of Ukraine
The information about lowering the mobilization age does not correspond to reality.
The Verkhovna Rada did not and does not have any draft laws on lowering the mobilization age from 25 to 18.
This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.
The committee emphasized that the information spread today in the mass media is false.
“Legislative activity is the competence of the parliament. Accordingly, the parliament can talk about what legislative initiatives are being worked on,” the committee said in a statement.
People's deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko also confirmed that there is no draft law on lowering the mobilization age in the Council.
