Deferment from mobilization – who can apply for it remotely – UNIAN

Now you can apply for a deferment through the Reserve+ application, but not everyone can do this.

In Ukraine, it has recently become possible to remotely apply for a deferment from mobilization through the “Reserve+” application. Diana Ternova, a lawyer for military law at Prikhodko and Partners Law Firm, spoke about this in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine.

According to her, a deferment from conscription for mobilization can be issued through the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons liable for Military Service and Reservists.

Who can apply for a deferment through Reserve+

The lawyer noted that now this function is available only for certain categories of citizens:

  • students,
  • persons with disabilities,
  • parents with three or more children.

However, according to Ternova, even these categories of citizens will be able to apply for a deferment…
