Russia is not ready to revise its terms for negotiations with Ukraine – ISW
The aggressor refuses to make any compromises, despite the significant liberation of territories by Ukrainian troops.
Russia continues to insist that negotiations with Ukraine should be based solely on the demands put forward by Moscow during the talks in Istanbul in 2022.
This is stated in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
“Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko stated on December 24 that Russia is open to compromises in negotiations with Ukraine. At the same time, she emphasized that the conditions put forward during the negotiations in Istanbul in March 2022 remain unchanged,” analysts noted.
