The ethnic structure of the peninsula's population changed significantly during the occupation.

Since the beginning of the occupation of Ukrainian Crimea, Russian invaders have replaced more than 35% of the inhabitants of the peninsula. This was stated by the acting permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Olga Kurishko in an interview with Tizhden.ua.

She referred to the results of a KIIS social study on the cognitive de-occupation of Crimea, which was conducted at the request of the Representative Office. According to the data obtained, the ethnic structure of the peninsula's population has changed significantly during this time.
