MTS will launch domestic base stations in the Kirov region

The MTS digital ecosystem announces the commissioning of 200 domestic LTE standard base stations produced by IRTEA on its existing network in 37 regions of Russia. In the Kirov region, MTS will launch seven Russian-made base stations at the beginning of 2025.

By the end of 2024, MTS will install and put into pilot commercial operation most of the 200 LTE 800 and LTE 1800 base stations, which will operate in 37 different regions – from the Far East, Far North and Siberia to the European part and southern Russia. During 2025, another 1000 IRTEA base stations will be connected throughout the country.
