In Ukraine, one of the electricity tariffs has increased: who will pay more for light
The change will affect only commercial consumers.
The National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Communal Services (NKREKP) approved a new transmission tariff electricity for 2025, which will be 30% higher than the current one.
This was announced at a meeting of the NCRECP.
The electricity transmission tariff for 2025 has been set at the level of UAH 686.23/MW*h. This tariff represents payment for the services of “Ukrenergo” for the transportation of electricity from the producer to the commercial consumer.
In Ukraine, electricity tariffs for households will remain at their current level at least until May 1, 2025. This means that in the winter period of 2024-2025, the cost of 1 kWh will be UAH 4.32/kWh, regardless of the transmission tariff.
