A man was killed by a train in the Lviv region – Lviv
The fatal incident occurred at the “Kalyniv” railway station.
In the Lviv region, at the railway station “Kalynyv” of the Sambir region, a train traveling on the “Kyiv-Chop” route ran over a 51-year-old man, a resident of one of the villages of the region.
This was reported to the National Police.
It became known that the man died on the spot from his injuries. As a result of the tragedy, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of five to ten years. Currently, the police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
It will be recalled that four people, two of whom are citizens of Ukraine, died in the accident of the Prague-Košice train of the Czech company RegioJet, which was heading to Chop.
