Milk prices: what to expect Ukrainians on the eve of the holidays
The cost of dairy products added to the price – and this is not the end.
In Ukraine, on the eve of the New Year holidays, there is an increase prices on products. Dairy products were no exception.
Maksym Hopka, an analyst of the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business, told “24 Kanal” what their prices will be.
Hopka explained that the dynamics of prices for dairy products in recent months shows a steady upward trend due to the increase in the cost of milk raw materials.
Thus, in the period from September to December 2024, the price of butter increased most significantly – from UAH 70-80 to over UAH 100 per 200 grams. This trend is a consequence of the reduction in the supply of milk on the domestic market, caused by the decrease in the number of cows in households, which was accelerated as a result of military operations.
