In the Black Sea, the release of oil products does not stop, which occurs due to the accident of the Russian tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239. Due to the worsening situation in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, a state of emergency has been declared.
A state of emergency was introduced due to a fuel oil spill in the Kerch Strait. According to the governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, there was previously an emergency at the municipal level, which was introduced by the authorities of Anapa and the Temryuk region in the first days of the ship accident. However, the situation remains tense, so Kondratiev decided to introduce a “regional emergency regime” from December 25.
