Russian troops are trying to break through the defense of Pokrovsk from the flanks. The enemy is trying to impose battles on the outskirts in order to force the Armed Forces to withdraw and avoid a frontal assault.

Viktor Tregubov, the spokesman of the “Khortytsia” OSU, told about this on TV.

Only during the last day in the Pokrovsky direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the Russian occupiers. The enemy in this direction has a significant advantage in manpower.

“Three Russian combined armies are concentrated against us – the Second, 41st and 51st Central Military Districts of the enemy. The fighting here is very fierce, because the Russian occupiers are throwing forward all available forces, trying to break through the defense of our troops,” Tregubov said.
