Units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs played Leontovich's legendary piece against the background of the Terikons in Donetsk region.
The “Schedryka” melody, which enchants the whole world during the Christmas holidays, was played near the city of Pokrovska, where its creator, the composer Mykola Leontovych, once lived and worked. Today, they are preparing for defense against the Russian invaders.
The corresponding video was published on the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In the comments to the video, it was noted that the filming took place in the Pokrovsky district, as there is a great threat of shelling and attacks by enemy drones in the city itself.
As reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the melody was performed in the open air by representatives of various departments of the department – a border guard, a policeman, a National Guard soldier and a rescuer of the State Emergency Service.
