The mayor of Lviv, Sadovyi, warned the family about the threat of war a year ago – Lviv
According to Kateryna Kit-Sadova's wife, the Lviv City Council was preparing for the invasion.
A year before the full-scale invasion, the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, told his wife that a major war was possible.
The mayor's wife, Kateryna Kit-Sadova, told about this in an interview with TSN.
“A year before that, he started saying that it was necessary to start preparing for “something”. When I sometimes asked him: Andriy, will there be a war? He said, “I don't know. It will be.” I say, I'm sorry, you can somehow sit down and say normally. And they were preparing. It kept me thinking that they in the city council have their own team in case the war does happen. And it was indicative for Lviv that they all they pulled it out,” says Ms. Kateryna.
She also added that she had not planned to leave Ukraine at the beginning of the invasion.
