In the Russian city of Irkutsk, a rare Il-76PP interceptor aircraft is being disposed of, which in theory should “jam” even the American Patriot air defense systems.

The Russians tried to create an electronic warfare aircraft based on the Il-76. However, the board went “under the knife” on the territory of the former training airfield due to a rather prosaic reason – it is necessary to free up space for development.
