Triss's fiancé turned out to be an agent of sorceress hunters.

Fans of The Witcher have stumbled upon another cut mission from the third part of the franchise. This time we are talking about the failed wedding of Triss Merigold and a nobleman named Edmund Castello. As conceived by CD Projekt RED, the mission took place in Novigrad and was called “The Ash Marriage.”

The plot of the mission developed around the tender feelings that Triss developed for a wealthy aristocrat. The future marriage was being prepared on a grand scale, and Geralt acted as a kind of wedding planner: he helped free the local sewers from monsters, obtained treats and, of course, decided what to give the bride. A gift in the form of a rose of memory, which, as is known, had special meaning for the sorceress, would be noted with a particularly warm reaction from Triss.

However, the path to the altar was not destined…
