On the evening of December 21 in Saudi Riyadh a boxing megashow took place, Sports.kz reports with reference to Sport.ua.
Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik (22–0, 14 KOs) and Briton Tyson Fury (34–1–1, 24 KOs) met in the ring for the second time.
It was a rematch for the world heavyweight title according to WBC, WBA, WBO (as well as IBO). Usyk managed to defend his titles, winning by unanimous decision – 116-112, 116-112, 116-112.
Three more Ukrainians fought on the undercard of this fight, and all won: Daniel Lapin beat Dylan Colin, Sergey Bogachuk beat Ishmael Davis, and Andrey Novitsky beat Edgar Ramirez.
