Japan will transfer an additional 3 billion dollars to Ukraine – what is known – Politics
The President of Ukraine discussed with the Prime Minister of Japan the continuation of support for our country.
The Japanese government has decided to provide Ukraine with $3 billion secured by frozen Russian assets.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
“The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba. The head of state congratulated Shigeru Ishiba on his election to the position of Prime Minister and thanked Japan for all the humanitarian and financial aid provided to Ukraine in the total amount of 12 billion dollars. The President separately noted the decision of the Japanese government to transfer another 3 billion dollars secured by frozen Russian assets to Ukraine,” the message reads.
