— You trained with Alex Pereira and Shavkat Rakhmonov. How important was it for you to train with these guys – current and future UFC champions? – They are both unique guys. And very different. In terms of technique, Pereira’s striking is simply on another level. He's a super strong guy. And he also has good jiu-jitsu. The time spent with him was very important to me. I was interested to know how he thinks during a fight. He thinks not “what will happen if I lose,” but “what will happen if I win.” I like this way of thinking….
