The Telegram channel “Kvadrat Pravdy” commented on the transfer of the Russian defender Nikita Kamalov to the Magnitogorsk hockey club “Metallurgist“, reports Sports.kz.
“Nikita Kamalov deserves to move to a better club. What Barys has become is more likely worthy of playing in the VHL,” writes the resource.
On December 25, the press service of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) announced that Metallurg had signed a contract with Kamalov.
The 29-year-old hockey player started the current season in Barys Astana. Kamalov played 37 matches during the KHL regular season and scored four assists.
