In Yahotyn, law enforcement officers detained a 48-year-old man who is suspected of fatally stabbing a disabled neighbor.
This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv region police.
The conflict occurred during a feast, when both participants were intoxicated.
“During the conflict, the assailant grabbed a kitchen knife and struck the victim in the chest area, after which he left the apartment. As a result of the penetrating stab wound, the victim died on the spot,” the Kyiv region police said.
The police arrested the 48-year-old suspect and placed him in a detention center.
