North Korea's participation in the war against Ukraine: the Armed Forces captured a North Korean soldier

A North Korean soldier is believed to have been wounded.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces captured a wounded North Korean soldier in Kursk region. The previous evening, the information appeared on the Ukrainian media.

South Korean intelligence has confirmed the capture of a North Korean soldier, Yonhap News Agency reports.

On December 27, the South Korean news agency released a statement from the Republic of Korea's intelligence agency confirming that a wounded North Korean soldier had been captured alive.

“Through a real-time exchange of information with an intelligence organization of a friendly country, (we) have confirmed the capture of a wounded North Korean soldier and plans to carefully study further developments,” the National Intelligence Service said in a brief release.
