Russians were informed of upcoming changes to the pension system in 2025. Many will be able to retire earlier than before – at 55 and 60 years old, as was the case before the reform.

According to experts, the pension reform adopted many years ago continues to operate, and its provisions are gradually being implemented. In the coming 2025, no one will retire due to old age – this is a feature of the reform. However, this does not mean that pensions will not be awarded at all.

Many Russians will be able to retire early. This applies to those who have accumulated quite a lot of experience: for women – 37 years, for men – at least 42 years of work. In this case, it will be possible to retire according to the old rules – at 55 and 60 years old.
