When the war ends, the general named two scenarios
In general, all scenarios depend on the solution of two tasks – the provision of weapons, equipment and mobilization.
The war in Ukraine can really end in 2025 under either an optimistic or a pessimistic scenario. The first – if it is possible to prevent the implementation of the plans of the Russian Federation, the second – if the USA stops aid.
This opinion was expressed by former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko in an interview with OBOZ.UA.
Romanenko estimated the probability that the war will end in 2025.
“The probability that the war will end in 2025 is really there. Most likely, this is the same realistic option that is somewhere in the middle between optimistic and pessimistic,” said the lieutenant general.
