Second racket of Kazakhstan Yulia Putintsevaranked 29th in the WTA rankings, recognized her first opponent at the tournament WTA 500 in Brisbane (Australia), Sports.kz reports.
Putintseva received the 15th seed at the tournament and will begin her performance from the second round. For reaching the third round, Yulia will play with the winner of the confrontation between the Polish Magda Linette (WTA No. 38) and American McCartney Kessler (No. 67).
Note that in the third round Putintseva has a chance to meet with the current first racket of the world Arina Sabalenko from Belarus.
The WTA 500 tournament in Brisbane will take place from December 29 to January 5.
