The authorities of the Kirov region are developing a legislative initiative regarding the topic of medical abortions. This became known during a weekly meeting of members of the regional government.

On Monday, November 11, Governor Alexander Sokolov announced that a bill on the issue of abortion was being prepared in the region. This is done by parliamentarians who are members of the United Russia faction and are related to medicine. The head of the region expressed hope that the bill could be adopted “in the foreseeable future.”
