Six Kirov residents received state awards and honorary titles from Vladimir Putin

The government of the Kirov region said that six residents of the region received state awards and honorary titles. The names of honored workers in various fields, noted in Vladimir Putin’s decree, were named by Alexander Sokolov during a weekly planning meeting.

The governor said that in the decree signed by the president on awarding state awards to four Kirov residents. Andrey Tselishchev (electric locomotive driver at the Lyangasovo locomotive depot) and Vladimir Shubin (director of the Kirov Medical College) were awarded medals of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, second degree.

In turn, the vice-rector of the Kirov State Medical University (KSMU) Maxim Razin received the Luka Krymsky medal. The same award was given to his colleague, associate professor of the KSMU department Valentina Skobeleva.
