The Telegram channel “Doctor's Notes” explained the nature of sleepwalking, Sports.kz reports.
“Sleepwalking is as fascinating as it is bizarre. It is a type of parasomnia, a term that refers to unusual behavior that occurs during sleep. This includes, for example, nightmares and sexsomnia (this is when people have sexual intercourse without waking up). Habitual sleepwalking is rare, with only 1.5% of adults engaging in sleepwalking in the previous year, according to the survey. But according to the same study, almost 7% of them have sleepwalked at some point in their lives.
Nighttime opportunities are varied and unusual.
