World champion version WBC lightweight Shakur Stevenson believes that the IBF title holder in his division Vasily Lomachenko will hang up his gloves, Sports.kz reports with reference to Fightnews.info.
“He will end his career. He’s not trying to get into big fights, so why stay in boxing,” Stevenson wrote on his X page.
Let's remember that Lomachenko last fought in May, when he defeated George Kambosos by technical knockout in the 11th round and won the vacant IBF lightweight title. After that, he had the opportunity to fight against Gervonta Davis at the end of the year, but Vasily decided to take a break in his career.
