A new study has shown that it's best to consume no more than 25 grams, or about 6 teaspoons, of sugar per day. To do this, scientists analyzed the results of 73 earlier scientific works.
When participants consumed one more serving of sugar-sweetened beverages per week, their risk of gout increased by 4%, according to a new review. When there are two more servings, it increases by 8%, etc.
